These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ScriptureCue, operated by Ponmile LLC ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using ScriptureCue in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
ScriptureCue is a browser-based tool that listens to spoken sermon audio through your device's microphone, detects Bible verse references in real time, and displays the corresponding verse text on a projector or member devices. The service includes:
To use ScriptureCue as a church operator, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You may not share your login with others or allow unauthorized access to your account. You must provide accurate information during registration and keep it current.
Church operators are responsible for all activity that occurs under their account, including actions taken by anyone they authorize to use their Account ID.
You agree to use ScriptureCue only for its intended purpose: displaying Bible verses during church services and related religious gatherings. You may not:
ScriptureCue is offered as a subscription service. After any applicable free trial period, continued use requires a paid subscription. Billing is processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the rate displayed at the time of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for — we do not offer partial-period refunds unless required by applicable law.
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with at least 14 days' notice by email. If you do not agree to a price change, you may cancel your subscription before it takes effect.
New church accounts receive a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start. At the end of the trial, you will need to subscribe to continue using paid features. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the free trial offer at any time.
ScriptureCue, including its software, design, and documentation, is owned by Ponmile LLC and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for its intended purpose during your subscription period.
The King James Version (KJV) Bible text used in ScriptureCue is in the public domain. Other Bible translations, if added in the future, will be subject to their respective licenses.
You retain all rights to your own content, including sermon titles, pastor names, and prayer request text submitted through the service.
ScriptureCue is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Verse detection is powered by AI and speech recognition technology and may not be 100% accurate. Confidence scores are provided to help operators verify results. We do not guarantee that every spoken verse reference will be detected or displayed correctly.
The service requires an active internet connection and a browser that supports the Web Speech API. We are not responsible for outages caused by your internet provider, browser limitations, or third-party service interruptions (AWS, Stripe, Anthropic).
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ponmile LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, ScriptureCue. Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior, or if required by law. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately and we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 7 days before material changes take effect. Your continued use of ScriptureCue after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States applicable to contracts made and performed entirely within the jurisdiction of Ponmile LLC's principal place of business. Any disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
