ScriptureCue ("we", "us", or "our") is operated by Ponmile LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use ScriptureCue, how we use it, and the choices you have. We take your privacy seriously and collect only what is necessary to operate the service.
Account information. When you create a church account we collect your name, email address, and the name of your church or organization. This information is stored in AWS Cognito and used solely to identify your account and provide the service.
Session data. When you run a live session, ScriptureCue processes the audio transcript produced by your browser's speech recognition engine. We do not record or store raw audio. Transcript fragments are sent to our servers to detect Bible verse references and are not retained after processing.
Member data. Congregation members who use the ScriptureCue member app provide an email address and display name for their account. Members may submit prayer requests, which are stored under your church's account and visible only to your church operators.
Usage data. We collect standard server logs (timestamps, IP addresses, page paths) for security, debugging, and service improvement. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
Payment data. Billing is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card number. We receive only a Stripe customer ID and subscription status.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your sermon content, prayer requests, or member data for advertising purposes.
We share data only with the service providers necessary to operate ScriptureCue:
We may disclose information if required by law or in response to a valid legal process. We will notify you to the extent permitted by law.
Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Session history (verse log) is retained to let you review past sermons. If you delete your account, your account data and session history are deleted within 30 days. Prayer requests submitted by members are retained until deleted by a church operator or when the church account is deleted.
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Account passwords are managed by AWS Cognito using industry-standard hashing. We do not have access to your password. Church account IDs are randomly generated and not guessable. We follow AWS security best practices for our database and API configuration.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at hello@scripturecue.com. Church operators may delete their account and all associated data from the Settings page. Members may delete their account from within the member app profile section.
ScriptureCue is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. If the changes are significant, we will notify you by email. Your continued use of ScriptureCue after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your data, please email us at hello@scripturecue.com. We will respond within 5 business days.
